When is the right time to Rebrand?

Everyone has their own opinions on rebranding, how it feels, the relief they get from it, how much they have to invest, etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💙 From my experience, I always thought rebranding meant completely changing up your business when it doesn’t go the route you want it to go, or if the aesthetic isn’t up to par with what you’re putting out there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💙 From time to time, I would consistently “rebrand”. Whether I was making a minor change on my mission, my business aesthetic, my feed layout, etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💙 When you’re making minor changes, a rebrand isn’t necessary. If you’re going a different route marketing wise, or regarding your aesthetic/mission, a rebrand will be necessary to help you gain clarity of where you are + who you are geared towards.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💙 If you’re in need of a logo change, changing the mission [ONLY] of your business, or only posting for a month and nobody is coming across your platform yet, a rebrand is not necessary.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💙 Think of rebrand as a “restart” button. You’re not just restarting the face of what you market, but also your aesthetic, mission, target audience, you’re revamping how you want to appeal to an audience.
